Sperm morphology staining
Sperm morphology analysis is one of the basic semen examinations carried out as part of the diagnosis and management of male infertility. Spermac Stain is an in vitro diagnostic staining kit comprising a fixative and 3 staining solutions for human spermatozoa. The stain helps to distinguish between morphologically normal and abnormal spermatozoa, and improves visualization of the different parts of the spermatozoon (head, acrosome, equatorial region, midpiece, tail).
Spermac Stain is a non-automated, qualitative diagnostic kit for professional use in the staining of human spermatozoa. The aim of sperm staining is to facilitate differentiation between morphologically normal and abnormal spermatozoa. Stained smears are evaluated under direct bright light and oil immersion (1000x).
